BIO
FiNE is the product of twin brothers Craig and Darren Fine, who share a love of music.
Emerging from Tel Aviv’s pulsing underground scene, FiNE regularly featured alongside prominent local talent including Red Axes, Jenia Tarsol and Chaim, as well as a host of international artists including Deborah De Luca and Magit Cacoon. Extreme socialites with infectious personalities, the brothers have since relocated to Los Angeles.
Born in South Africa and raised in Botswana, the brothers have their roots deeply embedded in African soil. As a result, it is no surprise that their signature style often includes ethnic and tribal overtones. The percussive layers are always a dominant feature of their tracks, regularly incorporating Afro-Cuban instruments such as congas, bongos, kettledrums and Bossa Nova additions.
Inspired by the likes of Afro-House artists Black Coffee and Shimza, as well as European, Melodic House artists Adam Port, &ME, Rampa and Tale of Us, FiNE champions a nostalgic sense of warmth, excitement and power, with a unique way of sending audiences on an emotional rollercoaster that blends intensity and vibrancy.
FiNE are consistent with their sound, which falls somewhere between house and techno. The twins have solid musical foundations that stem from the drums and piano they played from a very young age. The brothers performed in several jazz ensembles and bands, training their ears to listen, their guts to give direction, and their imagination to wander into the unexplored.
Passionate about their work and making their creative mark in the music industry, FiNE are currently working towards an exciting debut release.
